Update to CWMF Project Lifecycle Chart

The updated Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF) Project Lifecycle chart has been published.

The chart aligns with the Infrastructure Guidelines (IG), published in December 2023.

Key changes in the Lifecycle include:

1. Integration with IG Stages and Gate Approvals: Clear mapping between CWMF stages and IG Gate 1, 2, and 3 approvals.
2. IG Business Cases: Visual links between CWMF deliverables and IG Preliminary, Detailed, and Final Business Cases.
3. Alignment with COE1 Contract Stages: Lifecycle now matches current COE1 contract stages and FTS9 references.
4. Recognition of Pre-CWMF Activities: Includes Strategic Planning, Procurement Strategy, and Initial Scoping as pre-Stage (i) steps.
5. New Process Pillars: Dedicated columns for Risk Management, BIM/Information Management, and Cost & Carbon Management.
6. Diagram Levels: Three tiers: top-level overview, single-page summary, and detailed multi-page diagrams for stages 1 to 5.
