Information Manager (BIM) Role Profiles

An Information Manager (BIM) Role Profiles document has been launched this week. This is a key milestone in supporting the Irish BIM Mandate under the Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF).

The role profiles provide clear and consistent guidance on the competencies, experience and qualifications required for Information Management roles across the project lifecycle.

The Information Manager (BIM) Role Profiles document supports:

• public bodies in recruitment and capability building
• the private sector in benchmarking and aligning roles
• education providers in developing targeted training pathways

The role profiles have been collaboratively developed and launched by The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, Build Digital, and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
